That silence was maturity.
That growth meant setting boundaries so strong, no one could reach me.
And in a way, it did feel powerful.
To choose myself. To cut the cord. To move on without explanation.
But eventually, I had to ask myself:
Was I evolving… or just avoiding the version of me they reflected?
If “growth” always looks like disappearing…
If “healing” never includes apology, repair, or reflection…
If every challenge to your ego is labeled as “negativity”…
Then you’re not growing.
You’re hiding with prettier language.
The truth is, it’s easy to blame others for our discomfort.
It’s harder to admit when the boundary is just a wall.
When we’re not evolving, we’re escaping.
And the worst part?
Avoidance often wears the same outfit as healing.
So we clap for each other’s “boundaries” without realizing we also celebrate disconnection, unhealed wounds, and pride.
One Action — A Soft Invitation Back to Truth
Today, I want to invite you to sit with one honest question:
Am I growing… or just cutting off anything that makes me uncomfortable?
Not everything that feels hard is harmful.
Sometimes it’s just truth knocking at your door.
And sometimes, the healing you need isn’t in walking away.
It’s in staying long enough to say:
“I was wrong.”
“I overreacted.”
“I made that about me when it wasn’t.”
That kind of vulnerability?
That’s growth.
One Question — For Reflection
Who would still be in your life if your growth didn’t require so much silence?
Let’s stop confusing boundaries with avoidance.
Let’s start healing in real time, not just in our heads.
Let’s become the version of ourselves who can hold both accountability and compassion.
She’s ready.
And she’s not hiding.
